If you don’t know who she is already, Wengie is a Chinese-Australian beauty blogger. She constantly fetishizes Korean culture by posting videos like “Korean Beauty Secrets”, “Korean Diet Tips”, and as you can see from the first picture she even went as far to try to explain “why all Korean girls look the same”. She even ripped off an exact copy of an actual Korean blogger’s “American vs. Korean Makeup” video. I used to be subscribed to her and in almost every video she’d mention that she does ___ beauty/ diet thing because “Koreans are known for doing it and they’re known for their beauty/ slim bodies” (paraphrasing here) or something along the lines of that. People also said that she’s said she hated being Chinese because of the culture or something. I couldn’t find the receipts on that so take that as lightly/ seriously as you want. This girl wants to be Korean so badly and tries to make herself seem Korean through fetishization of Korean culture (or what she THINKS is Korean culture).
