I am 100% never going to stop wearing henna or applying it to other people just because I/they are white. I personally think wearing henna is a cultural experience for people all over the world and people who get it must enjoy/appreciate it and that shows the cultures that henna derived from that it’s being embraced and moved around the world as part of a human experience and I think that’s great. I believe that any person of any culture should be able to wear henna. But I want you to know that when I do henna, it doesn’t lose it’s significance, to me it will never lose it. But if you are speaking directly to me, you might as well come off anonymous and speak outwards to the millions of other people around the world of all colours who do use henna. I understand two sides of the argument completely, but I as a person won’t ever stop doing/wearing henna. I love henna and the children/adults I do it for also adore it, so I will keep doing what I am doing and never disrespect the significance of henna but embrace it.
